*This car has a stock Toyota Supra Motor. This Supra Motor-powered SC 300 is a legend iconic Fast and Furious muscle car -- the Holy Grail of muscle cars, to say the least. This car is SERIOUSLY IMPRESSIVE. In fact, there are some afficiondos who believe the SC 300 is BETTER than a Supra—— more luxurious, faster, more quality. And, we are all arguing about who gets to keep it as ‘dealer’s pick’ if it doesn’t sell for our price (And, that should be a hint that lower offers ‘just won’t do’).

If you’re new to the LEXUS SC 300, then you probably don’t realize that they are closely related to the Toyota Supra and actually have Supra motors, among other key components- everything that makes this SC 300 drive and go is Supra-Powered. The Supra and SC 300 are both manufactured in the Tahara Plant in Japan — the birthplace of many iconic Toyota Legends such as this. This SC 300’s 2JZ (yes, it’s a 2JZ!) engine is sourced directly from the Supra, as well as its transmission. They also share subframes, which means they share the same suspension. They also share the same braking system, as well as lots of the same electronics. Mechanically speaking, the SC 300 are nearly identical to the Toyota Supra in every single way and this one is no exception. Bonus: The motor has been said to be ‘bullet-proof’. That said, Supra quality and bullet-proof is nothing short of a phenomenal deal at $1950. Yes, there are few ‘minor’ but easy improvements: Seats (we can do for extra charge) have wear and tear consistent with age and some minor paint issues — but only minor and easy to fix. Other than that —— this car is all there and all one has do is get in and drive. Save the extra build ideas for the near or far future and drive it as a daily driver until you do or just get it over with now. The choice is yours’. Hard to find…..

Go Motors loves ALL vintage Toyotas, yes. But, when we get a Supra Motor in our inventory. . . Hmmmm…..we are honored and feel our mission to offer the best most interesting vintage Toyotas to our clientele, at least for that day…..is complete. Of course — that’s an endless task for us but at least with respect to this one — mission complete.

Straight six RWD super powerful like a ’true’ muscle car should be -- runs, drives, and is quite beautiful! You could buy a Toyota Supra (and pay MUCH more...and, if you can find one for this price) or go with this super sleek, sexy, in-line 6 rear wheel drive coupe.

Some minor issues with paint -- easy fix (and we can do it for add'l quote). But, that's all. It came from a good home where it was loved and cared for, apparently.

How AWESOME IS THIS LEXUS?

This was the second model year of the SC 300, the new Lexus luxury sports coupe. Little has changed for 1993, as passenger-side airbags and an automatic headlamp system were the only additions. The SC embodied the Japanese auto manufacturer's effort to build LS luxury (think "LUXURY" Toyota Supra) into a road-hugging sports car --Better, more luxurious, more powerful than BMW B3 and Mercedes SL.
